District12 Couture: De Updates

Eind April ging ons fashion gedeelte District12 Couture online. Inmiddels zijn er verschillende fashion guides bij gekomen, namelijk hoe je je haar kunt vlechten net als dat van Katniss, een style guide van Jackie Emerson tijdens het Nylon event en een style guide van Jennifer Lawrence tijdens het Madrid Fan event.

We zullen regelmatig hier via de site laten weten als er weer een aantal nieuwe guides op staan, maar je kunt natuurlijk ook altijd direct naar de website gaan om te kijken of er wat nieuws op staat en ook via Twitter en Facebook houden we jullie erover op de hoogte.

Eerder hadden we al preview filmpjes van Liam Hemsworth bij Punk’d, maar nu is dan de volledige aflevering vrijgegeven waar zijn vriendin Miley Cyrus hem te grazen neemt. Ook is er een filmpje verschenen van achteraf, na dat alles is bekend gemaakt.

Trevor Donovan wil de rol van Finnick

Trevor Donovan, het meest bekend van zijn rol in 90210, heeft in een interview laten weten dat hij ontzetend graag de rol van Finnick zou spelen in ‘Catching Fire’. Wat denken jullie, zou Trevor een goede Finnick zijn?

Perez Hilton has started an unofficial campaign to get you cast as Finnick in the next Hunger Games movie. Thoughts?
I’m humbled and honored, but most of all excited, because Mario [Lavandeira, a.k.a. Perez] is a good guy. All actors have a dream role; playing Finnick Odair is mine. I know the odds are stacked against me. I’ll be going up against big stars like Zac Efron and Armie Hammer, but you know what, I want it more and am very passionate about it, it’s not just another job to me, it’s much more than that. I’m not saying that it is for them. I was a fan before anyone knew the Hunger Games series would be made into movies. I read all the books the day they first came out and knew right there and then I wanted to play Finnick. I’m definitely the underdog in this race, but I’m committed and going to give it all I’ve got. As Effie Trinket says, “May the odds be ever in your favor.”

Nieuwe rol voor Isabelle Fuhrman?

Volgens Variety heeft Isabelle Fuhrman de hoofdrol gekregen in ‘Suspiria’.

sabelle Fuhrman, who parlayed her starring turn in “Orphan” into a key supporting role in “The Hunger Games,” has landed the lead in David Gordon Green’s remake of “Suspiria.”

Daria Argento’s 1977 horror pic followed Suzie, a young girl who travels to Europe to attend a world-renowned school, only to learn that the academy is a front for a coven of witches.

Green is directing from a script he co-wrote with Chris Gebert. Crime Scene Pictures principals Adam Ripp and Rob Paris are producing with Francesco Melzi d’Eril of Memo Films and “I Am Love” helmer Luca Guadagnino of First Sun.

Rizal Risjad, Silvia Fendi and Philip Elway will exec produce, while Lisa Muskat will co-produce. Wild Bunch is selling foreign rights at Cannes, and CAA is handling the domestic distribution deal. Production will start in September.
